Terms of use

Version of October 25, 2026

Sentari is an iPhone app for learning English vocabulary, published by PENGRAM, a French SASU with a share capital of 500 euros, Paris Trade and Companies Register 106 852 981, 16 rue Tiquetonne, 75002 Paris, France. By using Sentari, you accept these terms.

Apple’s license agreement

Sentari is distributed through the App Store under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement it; if they conflict, Apple’s agreement prevails as regards the license to the app.

License

Pengram grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Sentari on the Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store rules. The app, its brand, its design and its own content belong to Pengram and may not be copied, extracted or resold except where the law allows. Some language data is published under open licenses: the Sources and licenses page identifies it, and these terms remove none of the rights those licenses grant.

Free plan

The free plan is offered with no time limit. It lets you work on up to 50 distinct cards a day per device, new words included, at most 15 of them new (up to 50 on your first day). It includes A1 to C1 vocabulary, three personal decks and voice review.

The free plan checks an online authorization once a day per device; reviews then continue offline until it expires. A new check does not give back the cards already worked on.

Premium

Premium removes the daily limits and the personal deck limit, and adds C2 vocabulary, theme selection, complete deck lists, all-English immersion and long-term projections, among other things. The included features are described in the app before any purchase. The monthly subscription, the annual subscription and the lifetime purchase unlock the same Premium.

Content and learning

Sentari provides estimates of your vocabulary, memory and progress. They are neither level certifications nor guarantees of results. We take care of the word catalog, its translations and examples; if you spot a mistake or an inappropriate sentence, report it from the app and we will fix it. Safe mode hides adult vocabulary.

Liability

Sentari is provided as is. Pengram is not liable for unavailability caused by the App Store, iCloud or your devices. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the app evolves. An important change will be announced before it takes effect; the applicable version is the one published on this page.

Contact and governing law

For any question or complaint: contact@pengram.app. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. In case of dispute, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts may hear the matter.

This page translates the French version, which prevails in case of difference.
